A video has emerged purportedly showing a group of Arsenal fans tearing down the banner of Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas from outside their stadium, reports the Metro.
Gunners supporters have shown their anger at the banner, which displays the 28-year-old back when he used to play for the North London club. The Spain international was a fan favourite during his time there, but since moving to their local rivals many have turned on him.
The midfielder has made things worse for Arsenal by playing brilliantly for the Stamford Bridge outfit, helping them to win both the Premier League and the Capital One Cup in his debut season. His 21 assists and five goals in 47 appearances have been vital for the Blues, and the midfield partnership with Nemanja Matic has been almost unstoppable.
After this some fans seem to have taken matters in to their own hands by tearing down what appears to be the banner from outside the Emirates. Should the club have taken it down earlier, or were they right to stand by their former player?
