The 40-year-old posted two images via his official Instagram account to pay tribute to Andrea Pirlo and Xavi, who are both set to bid farewell to European football following the showpiece final.

Beckham played alongside the Italian legend during his two loan spells with AC Milan in 2009 and 2010, while he was on the opposite side to Xavi during his days as a Real Madrid player.
Pirlo is reportedly set to reject a move to Liverpool in order to join MLS outfit New York City in the summer, where he will link-up with former Chelsea star Frank Lampard [via Mail Sport].
Meanwhile, Xavi has already agreed a deal with Qatar side Al Sadd and will bring an end to a 17-year association with the Catalan giants following the game against the Serie A champions.
Both players will no doubt go down as two of the greatest central midfielders in the history of football and one will bow out having completed an historic treble.
