Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal looks to continue summer spending.

Man United boss Louis van Gaal will look to complete at least two more signings this summer according to the Guardian.

The Dutch manager has already secured the services of four top quality summer additions but is seemingly still keen on bringing in further additions before the transfer window slams shut.

“We are not finished yet, I think,”

“It is what I have said already in many press conferences. We need a balance in the selection and I think we still need to improve at least two positions and we shall do that when it is possible.” Louis van Gaal added.

Man United have spent £75m on deals to bring in Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin from PSV Eindhoven, Torino, Bayern Munich and Southampton respectively (via Guardian).

The Guardian has earmarked potential moves to bring in PSG forward Edinson Cavani and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

Van Gaal is short of central striking options following the sale of Robin van Persie to Fenerbahce and Uruguayan forward Cavani would be a superb signing.

Cavani scored 104 goals in three seasons with Napoli before moving to the French capital two years ago and has helped the Parc des Princes side to successive Ligue 1 titles.

However some reports have suggested that the powerful 28-year-old is unhappy with his wide-attacking role at PSG (via the Independent) but still managed to rack up 56 goal over the past two seasons.

Real Madrid star Ramos would offer van Gaal a marked improvement on his current central defensive options but the 29-year-old’s reported £62.9m price-tag (via the Daily Star) could prove a real obstacle and the Guardian claim Rafa Benitez has no intention of selling the experienced defender.
