At his press-conference ahead of today’s opening Premier League clash against Swansea City, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admitted his uncertainty over Diego Costa‘s fitness for the fixture, stating that Loic Remy or Radamel Falcao were set to be handed a start.

However, in promising news for the Blues, the English champions took their Twitter account to post pictures from their training session on Friday, and – perhaps toying with supporters – snaps of Costa in action were posted.

The former Atletico Madrid striker missed the end of last season with a hamstring problem, and could be set to miss the start of the new campaign with the very same persistent concern.
Remy and Falcao were both disappointing against Arsenal in the Community Shield defeat last Sunday, but whether Mourinho decides to risk further injury to Costa remains to be seen.
