The 30-year-old has become surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes after the arrival of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United, and is being offered out to various sides. Teams in Serie A have also been given the chance to sign the Argentina international.
Last season the winger managed eight goals and two assists in 31 Ligue 1 appearances, although 12 of them came from the substitutes’ bench. As such he was already moving towards the fringes of Laurent Blanc’s squad, and the arrival of his compatriot will only speed up the process.
While it is debatable whether the World Cup finalist would be able to get in to the Gunners’ team, he could be a good signing for either Spurs or the Hammers. Both are lacking in top quality options on the wing, and the former Napoli man could be perfect as they look to challenge the more free spending sides above them.
