Mourinho sack surely closer as Chelsea players and fans turn on their manager.

Jose Mourinho is under increasing pressure at Chelsea after defeat at Porto this week, with senior players left out of the squad for the trip to Portugal, and with fans calling for John Terry to be brought back into the side.

The Premier League champions have made a poor start to the season, winning only two league games and now slipping up in the Champions League as well.

Having left out big names like Oscar and Loic Remy from his latest squad, Mourinho is believed to be unsettling the senior members of his team, while fans also chanted for Terry to be brought back, according to the Guardian.

There is growing speculation that the Portuguese coach could be edging closer to the sack at Stamford Bridge, having also caused controversy after his falling-out with club doctor Eva Carneiro in August.
