Man City striker Sergio Aguero: I want to work under Pep Guardiola

Man City forward Sergio Aguero has stated his desire to work under Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola according to Goal.com.

The 27-year-old is into his fifth season at the Etihad Stadium and has proven a massive hit in the Premier League, netting 84 goals in 128 English top tier appearances, and the Argentine is a player Manuel Pellegrini would be loathe to lose.

Aguero is set to miss Man City’s crunch tie with local rivals Man United later this month having suffered a hamstring injury whilst on international duty, with Pellegrini expected to be without the former Atletico Madrid man for up to four weeks.

When questioned as to whether he would like to player under Guardiola the South American goal-machine stated;

“I would like to be coached by him in the future because he is a great coach.”

Before adding.

“But today I’m so happy with Manuel Pellegrini.”
