Euro giants arrive in London to hold talks with Chelsea pair

Representatives of Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly flown into London to hold talks with Chelsea over the possibility of signing fringe pair Branislav Ivanovic and Loic Remy, according to AMK.

The Istanbul-based side are currently scouting the transfer market looking for new recruits to strengthen their attack and defence, which has led them to the UK for preliminary talks with the Blues over the out of favour duo.

Serbian international Ivanovic is out of contract at the end of the season, and Gala are hoping to snap him up now for a cut price fee, while Remy has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge despite the poor form of both Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao this season.

However, while they want Ivanovic on a permanent deal, their talks with Chelsea have been based on their interest in a loan move for Remy.

Remy still has an outside chance of making it into the France squad for this summer’s European Championship, but allegedly has several offers to stay in the Premier League.
