Benfica starlet Renato Sanches has ‘bags packed’ for Man United move

Portuguese publication Record is claiming that Benfica youngster is so close to joining Manchester United that he already has his bags packed.

The report claims that the teenager hasn’t yet penned an official deal with the Red Devils but a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between the two clubs has been reached to push through the deal at the end of the season.

Several key factors are still to be sorted out between the two clubs before the deal can be rubber stamped, including the transfer fee. Benfica are hoping to earn a fee of €40million as well as a further €20million in added bonuses and clauses, but United are hoping to land his signature for significantly less.

And despite that, Record are claiming that there is actually very little that will stop the deal from going through at the end of the season.
