Jack Wilshere Twitter gaffe pours more misery onto terrible Arsenal day

No disappointing Arsenal performance would be complete without Jack Wilshere going on social media and making things five times worse.

Mere minutes after Arsenal suffered a brutal 1-1 draw against lowly Crystal Palace after conceding an equalizer in the final 10 minutes, Wilshere did his best to keep spirits high with a “#AFC #Together” message for his 2.2 million followers to see. The problem is, the image he used in the picture featured the Arsenal crest above the silhouette of the famous Manchester United ‘Holy Trinity’ statue at Old Trafford:

Wilshere deleted the image from his Instagram account shortly afterwards, but still has the link to the non-existent page posted on his Twitter page as of writing.

The Arsenal midfielder has been out of action since the summer with injuries, but made key progress on his return by playing a full 90 minutes for the Under-21 team this past week.
