Bayern Munich star wants Arsenal scoring machine to join him in Germany

Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez have played very well over the past few years for Chile, capturing the Copa America title last summer and beating Brazil in their World Cup qualifier. Now though, the Bayern Munich midfielder hopes he can pair up with Sanchez for more than just international duty.

Following recent rumours that Bayern Munich were interested in bringing Sanchez to Allianz Arena, Vidal expressed hope that the reports were true and was excited by the prospect of playing alongside Sanchez full time.

‘Hopefully,’ Vidal said regarding the Sanchez-to-Bayern rumours [per the Metro].

‘We have played together since playing for the Under-20s, so it would be nice to play with him again!’

Vidal joined Bayern Munich this past summer after helping Juventus reach the Champions League Final. Since moving to Germany, Vidal has six goals and seven assists in 42 appearances for the club in all competitions.

With Bayern Munich likely to lose star midfielder Mario Gotze to Liverpool this summer, the German giants may plunder Arsenal’s ranks to find a suitable replacement, and Sanchez certainly counts as suitable.
