Wantaway Arsenal star to be offered to four clubs as exit talk grows

Alexis Sanchez’s agent is reportedly set to offer his client to four different clubs as talk of a possible exit from Arsenal continues to gather pace.

The Chilean international has fallen short of expectations this season, despite a respectable return of 16 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

Given his role and importance to the side, Arsene Wenger would have hoped for more from him, and his frustrated reaction to being substituted against Norwich City last weekend only further added to suggestions that all is not well at the Emirates.

According to The Daily Star, Sanchez’s representative, Fernando Felicevich, is set to approach Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Manchester City about a possible move this summer.

It comes after Don Balon had claimed that the Chilean forward has become fed up with life in north London, and would prefer a reunion with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

After another disappointing season this year, Arsenal could be put under pressure by their rivals from around Europe who will look to pounce for any discontented players at the Emirates.

While it is unclear as to how much truth is behind Sanchez’s reported desire to leave and secure a fresh challenge elsewhere, it certainly isn’t positive news heading into the summer from an Arsenal perspective.

Furthermore, Wenger will be desperate to avoid losing him to a domestic rival, and so the Frenchman faces a tough time in the coming months not only to keep his current group of stars in tact, but to also significantly strengthen and ensure that the disappointment at the club doesn’t go on.
