£50m Real Madrid star hints at exit, puts house up for sale as Man United tipped to get him

By many accounts James Rodriguez had a rough second year at Real Madrid after a solid 2014-15 season. His production nearly dipped in half as did his minutes and its led to a belief that he may be on the market this summer.

As a result, Manchester United are interested in Rodriguez and may have found a big boost towards getting their man.

According to The Sun, Rodriguez has placed his house in Madrid up for sale and Man United have been told they can go and try to get him.

The Colombian superstar is represented by Jorge Mendes – the same agent as Man United manager Jose Mourinho – and has reportedly been told that he can leave Real Madrid.

Rodriguez finished the 2015-16 campaign with eight goals and eight assists across all competitions. He made just 17 La Liga starts and three Champions League starts.

He ultimately played fewer than 1800 minutes for the club and did not feature in the team’s Champions League Final victory over Atletico Madrid.
