Ryan Giggs talks up Man Utd target Paul Pogba

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs praised Paul Pogba at half-time during his display for France in their 5-2 victory over Iceland in their Euro 2016 quarter-final clash.

Giggs described the former United midfielder as being a complete player who combines technique with physical power.

“He’s a talented player. He can shoot with both feet,” he said to ITV [via Metro].

“What you don’t realise as well is how big he is.

“He’s a physical presence. Physically he’s immense.

“He’s got everything.”

Pogba scored his first goal of the European Championships against Iceland and has played a key role for France this summer as he did for Juventus last season.

The 23-year-old scored 10 times and provided 16 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions for Juventus over the 2015-16 campaign.

France will take on Germany next in the Euro 2016 semi-finals and could face either Wales or Portugal if they make it through to the final.

Pogba left United for Juventus in 2012 after failing to break into the first team but the Red Devils reportedly want the powerful midfielder back.

The Mirror states that recently appointed head coach Jose Mourinho is hoping to sign Pogba this summer.
