Out-of-favour striker set for Chelsea exit if Lukaku joins

Chelsea will consider offers for Loic Remy should Romelu Lukaku join from Everton over the summer transfer window according to the Daily Mail.

The Daily Star report that the Blues have submitted a non negotiable bid for Lukaku worth £68 million.

The report claims that Chelsea will make one last bid for the Belgian international after having bids of £57 and £60m already turned down.

The Belgium international would become the most expensive transfer in the Premier League should the transfer go ahead but the Toffees reportedly want £75 million for the former Chelsea striker.

Remy struggled for playing time last season and could fall further down the pecking order should Lukaku join.

Besiktas are reported to be monitoring the situation closely and are preparing an offer according to Lig Tv.

Per the source the Black Eagles are hoping the Blues will accept a cut-price deal if Lukaku signs.

Besiktas are currently in the transfer market for a replacement for star striker Mario Gomez who finished last season as top scorer and played a key role in the Eagles winning the league title.
