Northamtpon scored an equaliser against Manchester United from the penalty spot to make the score 1-1 going into the half-time break.
Michael Carrick opened the scoring with an excellent shot early in the first half but Northampton responded by coming out of their shell and taking the game to United.
Northampton were rewarded for their efforts with a penalty just minutes before the interval.
Revell stepped up and converted the spot kick to put United boss Jose Mourinho under pressure going into the interval.
