Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly launched a hunt to find a mole who has been leaking his team sheets this season.
According to The Sun, they were shown a text message three hours prior to kick-off against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League earlier this month which correctly predicted the line-up.
It wasn’t the first time that the line-up has been leaked, and given that the Portuguese tactician is known for wanting to keep his selections close to his chest and keeping his rivals guessing, he will have undoubtedly been left annoyed that the information has been getting out.
In turn, he has set out to find out who it is in order to prevent it from happening moving forward and will be hoping that he can keep his team line-ups under wraps and out of the hands of the media as well as rival clubs.
“Mourinho is spitting feathers after discovering he’s being betrayed by someone within the club,” a source told The Sun.
“This sort of information is gold dust for opposition managers and gamblers.”
It’s a similar situation to the one Mourinho found himself in last season at Chelsea, and he’ll undoubtedly be hoping that there’s a happier ending to this story compared to last time out when he was sacked in December.
The ‘Special One’ returns to his former club on Sunday with United heading to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in an important game for both sides.
