Arsenal appear to have been handed major fitness boosts with a trio of influential figures returning to training ahead of this weekend’s north London derby.

Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin all missed the trip to Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday night with respective ailments, but as seen in the images below, all three returned to training on Thursday to hand Arsene Wenger a major boost.

In fairness to those that have stepped in during their absence, Arsenal have been able to sustain their impressive run of form and have shown their strength in depth with the likes of Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain stepping up and delivering.

Nevertheless, Wenger will be delighted to potentially have all three of those individuals mentioned above back in action, although they will likely go through tests on Friday to determine whether or not they are fit to feature.

Walcott has scored eight goals in 11 appearances in all competitions so far this season, while Bellerin and Monreal have been pivotal in the full-back positions both from a defensive and attacking perspective.

In turn, Wenger will be desperate to be as close to full strength as possible, and having them back in the team for their clash with Spurs will undoubtedly give the entire squad a lift.

Arsenal are unbeaten in all competitions since the opening weekend of the season, and currently sit joint top of the Premier League table alongside Manchester City and Liverpool with 23 points from their 10 games thus far.
