Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, according to the Sunday Express.

The Sunday Express report that the French champions are in the hunt for reinforcements for their forward line after talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic left the club in the summer to join Manchester United.

The paper believe that PSG see Aguero as an attainable signing and will make their move to sign the Argentine before they miss out to Real Madrid.

Aguero scored 24 goals in just 30 Premier League appearances last campaign, and has started off this term with eight in nine. The phrase ‘he guarantees you goals’ is thrown around frequently nowadays, but he genuinely does.

He played an integral role in arguably the most successful period City’s history. Since moving to the Etihad in 2011, he’s lifted two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the Community Shield.

The 28-year-old has also, remarkably, surpassed Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s Premier League tally. The City faithful will no doubt be praying that they’re able to hold onto Aguero.
