Antonio Conte is preparing to make major changes to Chelsea squad over the next two windows according to the Mirror, including the removal of many older key players that are lingering at Stamford Bridge.
Cult hero Jon Obi Mikel’s contract will not be extended, meaning the midfielder will be leaving the Bridge after a decade.
The Mirror mention out of favour Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia as a potential Mikel replacement; as well as Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi.
Cesc Fabregas, who has been unable to win his place in the team back, is also apparently ready to be cast off. West Ham have been mentioned in connection with the midfielder, as have AC Milan in the past.
The future of John Terry remains a mystery. He has lost his place in the team and has a deal that expires this summer. Once again, it seems this could well be his last season at the Bridge.
