Robert Lewandowski has put Bayern Munich ahead against Atletico Madrid with his second stunning free-kick in just five days.
Lewandowski had not scored a free-kick at club level in over two years prior to this month. After scoring one in the Bundesliga at the weekend, he has now shown his set-piece expertise in the Champions League.
It was the Polish international’s 20th Champions League goal in 30 appearances for Bayern in the competition. He is as close to a complete centre-forward as you are every likely to get.
What a free-kick! @lewy_official lights up the Allianz Arena with another set piece special. ? #UCL https://t.co/8fz15emoz4
