Manchester United playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been discussing life at the club, but may well have brought about some unwanted attention to himself.
One of the questions in the interview, as seen in the video below which he shared on his official Instagram page, was which Premier League player was his idol growing up.
Now the smart answer would probably have been a former United player which would have ultimately kept his new supporters happy and endeared himself to them further.
However, to his credit, he decided to be completely honest with his answer and revealed that it was Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Given the Frenchman’s goal tally and influence on the Premier League as a whole, it shouldn’t really come as much of a surprise and Mkhitaryan will undoubtedly be hoping to make even half as big an impression as Henry did.
The Armenian international’s first task though will be to recover from injury before picking up from where he left off with his best performances since joining United coming over the last fortnight or so.
