Man City prodigy not on the move anytime soon as agent rubbishes Inter links

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus’ agent has played down speculation linking him with a shock move to Italian giants Inter, report Calciomercato.

Jesus has very much hit the ground running since (finally) arriving at Man City in January. The Brazilian prodigy found the back of the net three times and provided an assist in his opening four Premier League games.

There are often question marks when a player comes from a less competitive league whether they will require a period of adaptation before we see their best form. However, Jesus has taken to life in England like a fish to water.

Unfortunately for him, he suffered a foot injury during his side’s victory over Bournemouth which Calciomercato believe will rule him out for the remainder of the season. Regardless, he will undoubtedly be raring to go for Pep Guardiola’s side next campaign.

The 19-year-old seems more than content to stay put in Manchester, with Calciomercato quoting his agent Cristiano Simoes, who echoes his client’s happiness and rubbishes links with Inter:

“Moratti is a very important personality and we are flattered by his words but there is no chance to see Gabriel Jesus joining Inter in the near future. He’s chosen Manchester City and he’s very happy there, we’re all delighted with his performances in England.”
