Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has a superb ‘Plan B’ in mind if he cannot sign Neymar or Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in this summer’s transfer window.
In one of the big surprises of the summer, Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid for Juventus and the Spanish giants will now need to deliver something pretty special to replace their all-time leading goal scorer.

According to Don Balon, Neymar and Mbappe remain priorities for Perez, but he could also look at the more realistic options of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Tottenham’s Harry Kane to come together as a combination.
The report suggests they’d cost €400million combined, and that could actually be reasonable money to spend on replacing a player many feel will most likely be irreplaceable.
The 33-year-old remains one of the best players on the planet despite his age, and leaves the Bernabeu with the phenomenal record of scoring more goals than he played games for Los Blancos since joining in 2009.
The Portuguese netted 450 times in total for the club and will surely go down as their best ever player, but together Hazard and Kane have both the creativity and the goal threat, respectively, so repair some of the damage.
Kane would undoubtedly be an ideal upgrade on Karim Benzema at centre-forward after the Frenchman scored just five goals in La Liga last season, while Hazard and Gareth Bale could play wide of the England international to form an exciting new-look front three.
