After 415 goals in 769 games Henrik Larsson has decided to call it quits. The Celtic, Helsinborg, Feyenoord, Man United and Barcelona legend was a player who was universally admired and at 38 after two decades in the game he has hung up his boots. What’s the Swedish for ‘Well done’?.

Everton and Tottenham ‘lining up move’ for Swedish striker

How exactly does a football club ‘line up a move’ for a player? Don’t they just phone up the selling club, ask if the player is available to sign and what compensation (if any) they require for his services? Or perhaps it’s an expression used by newspapers who haven’t got a foggiest about where this Swedish veteran striker will wind up, but have heard a whisper that he might return to the Premier League again this season.
