Chelsea lost 1-0 to Arsenal on the weekend at the Emirates Stadium, and former Arsenal star, Ashley Cole, did not play under a welcoming crowd. In a frustrating game for Chelsea, tensions began to rise from within the first minutes. John Terry’s reckless challenge on Cesc Fabregas, earned the England captain a yellow card. However, for those who believe in karma, he was forced to come off, which was later recognised as a broken foot. Yet, it was Ashley Cole who is to be fined for reacting to the Arsenal’s fans warranted taunts and attacks. Ashley Cole was reported to have shown the V-sign to a sect of Arsenal supporters, and it has been concluded, through video and picture evidence, that the England left-back did in fact do this gesture.
Chelsea manager Avram Grant responded plainly:
‘I don’t think he made that reaction,’
You deserve it Ashley – deal with it – because your lawyer won’t.
