Juventus still have scudetto chance?

Anyone who follows the Italian Serie A would tell you that Inter Milan have the strongest and largest squad in the country and that they are the firm favorites to win the scudetto. And Juventus? Well, they would finish in a UEFA Champions League place, and if they are extremely lucky, they might even snatch the second spot from AS Roma.

What about the scudetto for Juve? Well, most would say no but not Mauro Camoranesi. The Argentine-born Italian international hopes to come back from an injury layoff in the first week of February. Goal.com quotes him as saying in the Gazzetta Dello Sport:

Without offending anyone I don’t see many teams who are superior to us. The points we have are what we deserve. Even if Inter have a big points advantage, the title race still isn’t over. We have to wait and see until February and March when the Champions League is back on to clarify the situation.

Juventus started the season pretty strongly but their individual class have somewhat let them down. Not that they are out of the running altogether for the Serie A title but somehow you do not feel that Claudio Ranieri would be able to pull off the miracle this season at least.
