Arsenal consider move for footballing legend: If he was 26 he would cost £50m!

A long-admired target of Arsene’s is now available, what will happen next…..

French international Lilian Thuram says several clubs are chasing his signature, but he has not yet decided his future.
Paris Saint Germain are interested in signing the World Cup winner, who is a free agent after spending two seasons with Barcelona.
But the central defender says there is also interest from clubs in England, Scotland and Italy.
Attracted
He told TV channel TF1: “I am attracted by a lot of things, notably joining PSG, but other clubs too.
“I don’t know what will happen in the coming days, so I can’t tell you.
“Playing abroad? There are talks too, we will see. There are clubs in Italy, England and even in Scotland.” (Sky Sports)

Thuram is a legend and can still cut it, even though he is 36. He could provide invaluable experience to a club like Arsenal, who do of course have a fair few younger talents who could learn a great deal from a player of Lilian’s stature. Do Arsenal fans think it would be a worthy signing to consider?
