Another day, another wonderkid signing linked with a move to the red half of north London…
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on launching a hugely ambitious bid to bring Real Madrid prodigy Daniel Parejo to north London.
Wenger has been tracking the Spanish youngster for the last couple of seasons and is ready to test Real’s resolve with a bid in the region of £10million.
The 19-year-old has just enjoyed a stunning season on loan at second division Castilla – scoring 10 goals in 33 games – and his form has caught the attention of Europe’s top clubs, including the Gunners.
The Spain Under-19 international could have a big future at Real, who are likely to knock back all bids, but Wenger is ready to offer £10million in the hope of striking a deal. (eatsleepsport.com)
With various players supposedly considering leaving the Emirates, it’s not surprising that Arsene is looking to bring in more exciting young talent to the club. Whilst Real may not be too keen on letting the teenager leave, given Wenger’s reputation for giving youngsters a good shot at first team football, Parejo may consider a move to Arsenal a better bet.
