According to reports, Arsene Wenger is leading the chase for this very promising youngster, dubbed the next Zinedine Zidane!
Grenoble midfielder Sofiane Feghouli is expected to move to the Premiership – possibly as early as January.
The Daily Star Sunday says Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool all want the French wonderboy. (Tribalfootball.com)
Being labelled as the next Maradona or Zidane can be as much of a curse as a blessing, but for the moment, the media’s obsession with Feghouli could well be a good thing for his French side Grenoble. They are apparently more than likely to cash in on the 18-year-old playmaker.
Arsenal’s ability to take raw talent and convert it into real potential has of course been well documented, and apparently Sofiane has a real admirer in Wenger, who has apparently sent scouts to watch the youngster’s progression with the tiny Ligue One club. Valued in the £10m bracket by his current employers, a move for the French Under-21 international is expected by the Emirates outfit.
Do Gunners fans think that the fee may be too much for their wily boss?
