Saturday brings a massive slate of tasty Premier League matches for one and all! We’re looking for the COS commentariat to give us their thoughts and predictions on today’s critical match between Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Arsenal will be hoping for a different scoreline this time around when Aston Villa visit the Emirates today. In their last two matches in London, Villa have come away with 1-1 draws. That won’t do this time around, as Arsene Wenger’s men desperately need a win to remain in the hunt for the league title. The squad will be without goalkeeper Manuel Alumnia after he sustained an injury against Manchester United. The club will rely on Lukasz Fabianski in his absence. Striker Emmanuel Adebayor is a 50-50 doubt with an ankle injury.
City, like Arsenal, have had their fair share of issues recently. Manager Mark Hughes has been under massive scrutiny recently for teams lack of quality on the pitch. The club is reeling at the moment, having won one of their last eight matches, and would surely do well to get three points against Arsenal. Last weekend’s draw to Hull only added to the pressure City are already under. The club will also be awaiting word on some of their key players (Robinho and Elano) who are back at the Eastland’s today following international duty.
So who ya got? Are you taking Manchester City or Arsenal? Give us your scoreline and goalscorers below.
