Swedish striker reportedly offered to Serie A leaders.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be set for a sensational return to Juventus according to The Guardian.
The current Serie A leaders are known to be in the market for a new striker as they seek to build a team capable of challenging for the Champions League.
They have been linked with the likes of Luis Suarez and Stevan Jovetic in recent weeks, but reports are suggesting a return for to the Juventus Stadium for the Swedish international Ibrahimovic.
The Italian giants have already confirmed the signing of Atletico Bilbao’s Spanish international forward Fernando Llorente but are looking to bring in a world-class signing to boost the club’s profile as they seek to re-etablish themselves amongst the European elite.
Zlatan is reportedly unhappy with the standard of football in the French Ligue 1 and believes himself better suited to a higher level with a team who can still challenge for the game’s biggest trophies.
One potential stumbling block could be the player’s salary. Ibrahimovic is known to be one of the world’s best paid players as a result of PSG’s Qatari owners.
It is unlikely Juventus would be able to match those wages so much may depend on the striker’s willingness to take a pay cut.
