Spanish manager points finger at teenage blogger for fabricated quotes.
Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has laid the blame at the door of a teenage blogger from the Czech Republic for his underwhelming performance at Stamford Bridge according to ESPN.
The former Liverpool boss has endured a turbulent time at the club since taking over from Roberto Di Matteo.
The Stamford Bridge fans have never forgiven Benitez for comments he is believed to have made criticising Chelsea and their fans during his time in charge at Anfield.
But Benitez has insisted he never made the comments and that they were instead made up by a teenage fan in the Czech Republic.
The Spaniard insists the fabricated quotes have dogged his time in the Stamford Bridge dugout and have prevented him from carrying out his job to the best of his abilities.
Benitez has slammed the Chelsea fans for failing to give him a chance to prove himself and for carrying an agenda against him from the moment he arrived at the club.
There appears to be almost universal dislike of Benitez amongst Chelsea fans but the former Liverpool gaffer insists he has received a lot of messages of support from fans of the club.
Benitez insisted he was doing a great job and pointed to the team’s improved balance as evidence of his good work.
