Uruguayan striker opens the door on move away from Napoli.
Napoli’s Edinson Cavani has put a host of top European sides on alert after admitting he could be tempted by a move away from the club this summer, according to The Daily Mail.
The Uruguayan striker is currently one of the hottest properties in European football and has a queue of top European sides ready to secure his signature.
Cavani is currently the top scorer in Serie A and his goals have fired Napoli into second place in the Italian top flight.
The likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea are all thought to be monitoring Cavani’s availability ahead of a summer bid.
Cavani insisted that he remains focused on finishing the season with Napoli as they look to snatch the Serie A title away from the grasps of league leaders Juventus.
The Old Lady are currently eight points clear of Napoli with just six game remaining but the club have not given up hope.
Cavani insisted that he was enjoying life in Naples but stated that there are always a lot of things to consider in football.
‘In football there are lots of things to consider,’ said Cavani.
‘I can only say that I will give my all in this shirt until the last day I wear it.
‘Second place is not guaranteed, it’s up to us. We have to make it ours in the forthcoming matches.
‘Actually, looking at the team above us (Juventus), not even the championship is decided. We will do everything we can.’
