Hull City are lining up a move for Polish international goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski after he has impressed whilst on loan at Blackburn this season, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 23-year-old has spent the season on loan with Blackburn Rovers from Belgian side Genk and has made just eight appearances this season, but that hasn’t put off Steve Bruce who is reportedly eyeing a move for for him to solve his own goalkeeping issues.

The Premier League new boys are in the market for a new custodian after Fulham loanee David Stockdale is set to return to the London club after having a £4 million price tag slapped on him, therefore pricing him out of a move to Humberside.

Sandomierski was expected to join Rovers permanently at the end of the season but are now dithering over a decision and could face losing out on his signature to Hull.

Valued at just under £1 million, he had to wait until February to make his debut for the Lancashire club in a 2-1 win over Millwall. An injury to regular starter Jake Kean saw him enjoy an extended run between the sticks as he started the final six games consecutively.
