Napoli considering Di Matteo and Benitez.
Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo could be set for a return to management with Napoli, who are looking for a replacement for Inter Milan-bound Walter Mazzarri, according to the London Evening Standard.
Current Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez is also a contender for the position, with the Spanish coach set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. The former Liverpool boss has also been linked with Schalke and PSG.
Di Matteo has been out of work since being harshly sacked by Chelsea this season. The Italian was a surprise appointment by Roman Arabmovich following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas last season, but he went on to lead the Blues to a shock Champions League win over favourites Bayern Munich.
However, he was shown the door this season after a poor run of form, which saw the team bow out of their defence of their title in the group stages of the competition and replaced by Benitez.
Benitez himself has said he would favour a move to another English club, but he is on Napoli’s list of candidates, as they look to push on next season after a good year in Serie A.
