Stamford Bridge side keen to bring in Galatasaray’s Buruk Yilmaz.
Chelsea are ready to splash the cash on bringing Galatasaray striker Buruk Yilmaz to the club according to The Metro.
The 27 year old forward has been in highly impressive form for the Turkish club since joining from Trabzonspor last summer.
Yilmaz caught the eye of Chelsea officials during Galatasaray’ successful Champions League campaign where his goals helped the club to the quarter final stages of the competition.
He comes recommended to the club by their former star, Didier Drogba, and it is thought that Chelsea are ready to make their move for the 24 goal hitman.
While Yilmaz isn’t likely to come cheap, Galatasaray are thought to be ready to sell him for far less than some of Chelsea’s other targets such as Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao or Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.
It has been reported that Galatasaray would be willing to start negotiations around the £25 million mark.
Chelsea are thought to be ready to appoint Jose Mourinho as manager in early June and the Portuguese boss is reportedly keen to bring in attacking reinforcements.
The club currently have Demba Ba and Fernando Torres on their books but it is thought that Mourinho is keen to provide competition to the pair.
