Ashley Williams (Swansea City)
Swansea captain Ashley Williams is another player who has had a wonderful season under Michael Laudrup at the Liberty Stadium. Williams led Swansea at Wembley in the League Cup final where they beat Bradford City. The 28 year old signed a new contract with the Swans in October 2012 but that hasn’t stopped Williams being linked with other clubs. Both Liverpool and Arsenal appear to be interested in the strong defender who would keep to tighten up their defences. Arsenal appear to be frontrunners for Welsh defenders signature at the moment with the prospect of Champions League football sure to entice Williams.
Swansea value Williams at £10 million and the swans will not want to let their captain go for any less.
