Returning Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has set his sights on five top talents as he sets about the task of making his Stamford Bridge side a genuine contender for Premier and Champions League glory.

The Daily Mail claims the 50 year old Portuguese manager has targeted five summer signings as part of his second spell at the West London club.

Stevan Jovetic Napoli

With the Chelsea attack perhaps the area in most need of attention Mourinho has set his sights on cultured Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic who has long been strongly linked with interest from Arsenal.

The 23 year old Montenegro international has been in fine form in Serie A over the past two seasons, scoring 27 goals in 58 starts, and could well be interested in a move to the Premier League having perhaps gone as far as he can with the Florence side he has represented for five seasons.

Such interest may well leave Fernando Torres, and perhaps even Demba Ba, considering their futures at Stamford Bridge.

This source does however believe Mourinho will recall Lukaku to the first team set-up and has no intentions of sending the Belgian youngster out on loan in 2013/14.
