Dutchman keen on return home.
Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma has confirmed that he hopes to join Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven this summer and hopes the two clubs can agree a deal, according to Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old began his career with the west London club in 2007 but has failed to make the breakthrough that many hoped he would and after a short stint with Leicester City he has spent the past two seasons on loan with Bundesliga side Hamburg.
However, a fortnight ago he was told by the German club that they would not be keeping him on for any longer and would be sending him back to Chelsea to face an uncertain future.
He does have a number of admirers, though, with PSV thought to be one of them, and he has admitted that the prospect of turning out for the Eredivise outfit would be too good to turn down.
“Yes I want to join PSV,” he told Dutch magazine Voetbal International.
“This week we will open the negotiations. First PSV had to talk with Chelsea, after that it’s my turn.”
Bruma made just nine appearances for Chelsea but was considerably more involved for Hamburg, turning out 41 times and scoring three goals.
