Jose Mourinho has said that he will help John Terry get back to his best but has warned that there will be no easy ride for Chelsea’s older players, Sky Sports reports.

The Portuguese manager was unveiled as Chelsea boss for a second time this afternoon amid a media frenzy.

During the press conference, Mourinho stated that he would look to re-establish Terry at the heart of Chelsea’s defence with the defender having a difficult time last season under interim coach Rafa Benitez.

” What I can say is about the future. I’ll meet John in the first week of July and try to get the best out of him,” said the new Chelsea boss.

Mourinho will also be re-united with Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and Petr Cech, key members of his side during his last spell at Chelsea.

He warned that none of his players can expect preferential treatment this season.

Speculation has been rife that Mourinho will have a lot to spent on transfers this season as the club look to challenge for the Premier League title as well as the Champions League.

The club have been linked with several strikers including Napoli front-man Edison Cavani and Zenith St Petersburg striker Hulk.
