French club keen to appoint Portuguese boss as replacement for Carlo Ancelotti.
Wealthy French club PSG have reportedly sounded out Andre Vilas-Boas about taking over at the club according to The Guardian.
The Ligue 1 Champions look set to lose their current boss Carlo Ancelotti, with the Italian favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
The French side are keen to hold on to Ancelotti but are privately making plans regarding his successor. PSG were thought to be keen on Guus Hiddink until the Dutch manager agreed an extension at Anzhi Makhachkala.
That has prompted them to turn to Andre Vilas-Boas who has rebuilt his reputation following an impressive season with Tottenham.
PSG are hoping to tempt Vilas-Boas to the French capital with the promise of significant backing in the transfer market. The club already boast the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marco Verratti in their ranks and the Portuguese boss could expect to bring in more top quality players were he to join the club.
But it is thought that AVB is keen to remain at White Hart Lane where he is planning to make a number of summer signings, as well as persuade Gareth Bale to remain the club. The young manager is keen to remain at Spurs and make a renewed attempt at Champions League qualification next season.
