Norwich City’s move for PSV forward Ola Toivonen has hit a snag this week as the player is reportedly unsure about moving to the Premier League.

The Canaries have made a £4.8million bid for the Swedish forward, report the Daily Express. PSV are yet to decide on whether to accept or reject the offer, but for the time being, the bid is on the table. Toivonen reportedly has until the end of the week to decide whether he wishes to move to the Premier League, which may prove to be the decisive factor in this deal.

Norwich manager Chris Houghton is retooling his current squad to make Norwich much more competitive next season, already adding Ricky van Wolfswinkel to the mix at the club, as they were in dire need of some attacking options, now that Grant Holt is seemingly on his way out of Carrow Road.

Toivonen, 27, is yet another attacking option for Houghton to work with as he aims to improve upon Norwich’s bottom-half finish. The array of attacking options potentially at his disposal will allow Norwich to be a more attacking force in games, and be more problematic for teams.

Norwich also want Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dame N’Doye and Blackburn left-back Martin Olsson to bolster their squad options.
