Demba Ba- Chelsea to West Ham
Ba has only had a very short spell at Stamford Bridge, having only signed for the Blues in January. During his time at the club, Ba has scored some fantastic goals, including one against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final. However, he hasn’t started as many games as he would of liked and has had to compete with Fernando Torres for a striking position, despite the Spaniards poor form.
Now that Jose Mourinho has returned to Chelsea, it looks like Ba’s time at Stamford Bridge could be up, with the Portuguese coach wanting to create room in Chelsea’s squad for new signings. West Ham appear to be the most likely destination for Ba, with Hammers boss Sam Allardyce looking for a forward to partner Andy Carroll next season. Ba would more than likely look to stay in the Premier League as he has had so much success in England. However, Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are reportedly set to make a bid for Ba and could offer the striker huge wages which West Ham wouldn’t be able to compete with. West will have to move fast to complete the signing of Ba for risk losing him to Anzhi.
