Five Flops Arsenal Must Sell This Summer

Posted by

Nicklas Bendtner

The Danish striker should be the first on the list if Arsene Wenger wants to sell any of current first-team squad. Bendtner ended last year with Serie A champions Juventus but failed to score a single goal in Turin and unsurprisingly they didn’t opt to sign him a permanent basis. Despite the cocky striker being at the Emirates club since he was 16, Arsenal fans are clearly getting the sick of the sight of him and yet there are no guarantees he will be leaving this summer. The latest club to be interested in signing the forward were Dutch side Eintracht Frankfrurt and an agreement was in place to see him moving to Holland. However the deal has collapsed after the player couldn’t agree personal terms after demanding too high wages. There are likely to be suitors from elsewhere in Europe with the striker performing consistently well for his country but they are yet to make their voices heard to the disappointment of Arsenal fans everywhere. Although Premier League Hull City are also thought to be interested with Steve Bruce seeking a reunion with the player he had on loan at the Stadium of Light a few years ago. There’s a redemption for your Nicklas.
