Stamford Bridge side insist defender going nowhere.
Chelsea have poured cold water on speculation that David Luiz could be set to leave the club according to The Telegraph.
The Brazilian defender is reportedly interesting Champions League winners Bayern Munich, who are rumoured to be preparing a £30 million-plus bid.
Bayern manager Pep Guardiola is known to be a firm admirer of Luiz, having first tracked the player during his time in charge of Barcelona.
It was thought that Chelsea may be tempted into accepting an offer for Luiz, with reports suggesting that new boss Jose Mourinho does not rate the centre-back.
Mourinho has insisted that there is ‘no chance’ of Luiz leaving and has denied reports that the club have received a bid for the player.
Luiz is thought to be happy with life at Stamford Bridge as is not looking for a move away from the club, however where he to leave Chelsea, he would prefer to secure a move abroad.
It is thought that Luiz would prefer to join Barcelona if he was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea but would not discount the possibility of joining up with Bayern.
Guardiola is keen to strengthen the Bayern backline after findings his defence exposed during his team’s 4-2 defeat to Dortmund in the German Super Cup.
