Brazilian will be shipped out to Italy in order to gain some much-needed game time in the new campaign.
Highly rated young Chelsea defender Wallace is on the verge of joining Italian giants Inter Milan on loan next season, according to reports in the Daily Mail.
The west London club are believed to have been hugely impressed with the Brazil Under-20 international’s displays on their recent pre-season tour of the Far East.
However, at present Chelsea have a mountain of world-class options in the right-back position at Stamford Bridge next season, including the likes of Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta, Serbia international Branislav Ivanovic and even veteran Ghana utility player Michael Essien if necessary.
All of which means that returning Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho has agreed to sanction the 19-year-old’s temporary departure from the capital this summer, with Wallace now set to team up with Serie A outfit Inter on a season-long loan for the upcoming campaign.
The full back, who only arrived at Chelsea last December from Brazilian giants Fluminense, where Wallace had been playing for the previous two years in making 30 appearances and scoring one goal, has still to actually make a competitive appearance for his new team though.
In fact, the first time that the youngster actually pulled on a Chelsea shirt came just this month in a friendly match against the Singha All Stars.
