Stopper planning to stay with Serie A champions.
Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has said that he will reject any transfer offer that comes his way this summer to stay with the Serie A giants, Sky Sports reports.
The Italian international has grown used to constant transfer rumours regarding his future having been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid in recent seasons, however, the 28-year-old has insisted that he is happy, and always has been, to stay in Turin.
“Every summer I hear transfer stories around me or Claudio Marchisio, but a lot of it is fantasy football,” the defender told Tuttosport.
“Beppe Marotta said clearly that this is not a selling club. Besides, it would be crazy to leave Juventus now that the project is taking off, even if Real Madrid came calling.
“Now that we have added a few more pieces [players], now that we are more solid, we aim to continue on this path.”
The tough tackling defender has been with the Bianconeri since 2005 after beginning his career with Livorno and Fiorentina and he has gone on to make 151 appearances for the club, helping them to two Serie A titles as well as one Serie B crown.
