Computer simulator predicts glory for Mourinho’s men.
Chelsea’s fans have been preparing for the new season with quiet optimism in the last few weeks; and a computer simulator has revealed that they have every right to be according to The Metro.
American company Bloombery Sports have unveiled the results of the upcoming Premier League season after they simulated it in its entirety through their ‘uniquely data-driven’ simulation systems.
The company have simulated the season 10,000 times before deciding to average out the results.
The results suggest that the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge is set to bring back silverware to the club.
According to the simulation system, the summer signings of Marco Van Ginkel, Andre Schurrle and Mark Schwarzer will be enough to see Chelsea leapfrog both Manchester United and Manchester City.
That is without taking into account the possibility of United star Wayne Rooney handing in a transfer request and forcing through a move to Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham fans look set for another disappointing year with the simulation having predicted the club will once again miss out on Champions League football.
Regardless of whether they hold on to Gareth Bale, the club look set to be pipped to fourth spot by Arsenal yet again.
