Spurs could make a £15 million offer to Ajax for both Christen Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.
Tottenham are set to make an audacious £15 million swoop for Ajax pair Christen Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld, the Sunday Mirror reports.
The pair have been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer but Tottenham look set to hijack the Reds move for the two highly-talented players.
Both Eriksen and Alderweireld are entering the final year of their contracts at Ajax, meaning they can leave for free next summer unless they sign new deals.
Both are unlikely to do so, meaning Ajax may have to cash in on them now and get whatever transfer fee that they can demand.
The pair have turned down a string of possible transfers to many different clubs and are believed to be waiting for the right club to come in for them.
Up until now, that club was thought to be Liverpool but with Reds distracted by the Luis Suarez saga, Spurs are set to make their move.
Both look set to cost Spurs a combined £15 million, a bargain considering they are both regarded as two of the best young players currently playing in Europe.
